Spring Gathering
— Hegli CSA

For this gathering we had forager Britt Kornum to guide us through the forest of wild weeds in the garden. We cooked nettle soup, ground elder pesto and spaghetti from dandelion stems, stir fry of the dandelion shots and salad of the leaves. In the garden Christian Høie guided us thorough the work day "dugnad".

We prepared the beds with 10 year old dung who had transformed into beatiful black soil. We prepared for the plants to get out and we weeded between the tomatoes in the green house. We also used grass as top soil compost and bought five moskus ducks to help us protect our salad from brown snails. If you want to become a member in Hegli CSA or want more info check us our here.
